Finally we decided to go to Italy at the end of this August.

We will step on the trip to Milan in mid September.

Thank Alice for her efforts in finding us the place to stay.

We both know how exhausting it is to sit before the computer for

All day long and look for a nice cosy place to live.

The trip will begin on 16th September and we will head back to London

On 24th September. Hope we have a great trip J

Part 1: the Flight Ticket Purchasing

We decided to take the trip like one week ago and booked a reservation slot for Visa application in London like one week ago. The most recent slot is 8th September L

I’ve never been to Italy but Alice had. I am always joking that she will be my guide in Italy.

We assigned work to each other so we could both keep the head above water.

I bought the flight tickets and Alice took care of the accommodation reservation.

I compared the price on different websites, and eventually decided to buy the tickets on Ryanair.com

The website is at http://www.ryanair.com/en

The total ticket fee is £92.50 pp. I know it’s not cheap at all. But, we are girls and we need to carry a luggage with us. I am not expecting to carry the backpack and walk everywhere.

That’d be a nightmare for me and I don’t even want to think about it for even one sec.

The fee for the luggage (max 15kg) is £35 or £40 for the return trip. It’s Italy!! I am not going to Portsmouth and I do need a place to put the clothes, shoes, grooming products…

OHHHHH, it’s going to be really heavy and I hate it. It’s like Catch 22 and I hate this feeling. Maybe I need to draw a payoff matrix and figure it out?? Punch me in the face, I am reading

Too much Game Theory recently.

So, the flight is from London Stansted Airport to Milan Bergamo. We will take national express coach from Southampton central to London Victoria (I bet the driver knows who I am, I am

Taking the morning service too many timessssssssss, lol). And from Victoria, there will be airport connection also by National Express. The total fee for the coach is £12.50 pp/one way.

OH, the travel insurance, I almost forget about that J

I bought it on Direct Travel Insurance at  http://www.direct-travel.co.uk/

The quote for me is £25.00 incl. 20% tax.  It’s a multi-trip annual service for travel within Europe.

So to make it more succinct and clear:

Flight ticket from Stansted to Milan (Bergamo)                             £92.50 pp/return (with max 15kg luggage)

Connection from home to London and from Victoria to Stansted    £12.50 pp/one-way

Travel Insurance                                                                      £25.00

So excited about the trip!!!!!! Wish me luck!!! J

A good book to share -- Social Media Marketing: Game Theory and the Emergence of Collaboration

This book is written by Eric Anderson with White Horse. It's great text and the writer actually wrote detailed thinking about marketer-consumer relationships in the book with his years of experience in marketing.

the book's link is here http://www.springer.com/business+%26+management/marketing/book/978-3-642-13298-8

and the writer's blog link is here http://www.unsettler.com/

list of chapter content main theme:
chapter 3 Prisoner's Dilemma and the Emergence of Cooperation
Page 40 the shifting ground of consumer trust *
Chapter 4 consumers' revolt in social media
chapter 5 mutually rewarding relationship
chapter 8 shifting ground of brand identity
Chapter 9 saturation and disconnection

The book is really worth reading. However, it is quite expensive (£82). Check the library and see whether it's got any copies available or e-copy available.
